Araling Panlipunan 10 Term 2 Lecture Notes

This course explores critical contemporary issues, social challenges, and global developments impacting local and international communities. Designed for Grade 10 learners, the curriculum investigates four core thematic modules: Mga Isyung Pangkapaligiran (Environmental Issues), Mga Isyung Pang-ekonomiya (Economic Issues including globalization, labor migration, and unemployment), Mga Isyung Pampolitika at Pangkapayapaan (Political Issues, human rights, and territorial disputes), and Mga Isyung Panlipunan at Karapatang Pantao (Social Issues, gender, and civic participation).

Students employ critical thinking, policy analysis, and historical context to evaluate current events, examine government structures, and understand their roles as active, socially responsible citizens. Emphasis is placed on media literacy, active community engagement, and data-driven problem-solving to address multifaceted societal challenges in the Philippines and the global arena.
